NOVUS Fund Invests in ClubeFashion to Boost Sustainable E-Commerce in Portugal

The NOVUS Fund, created in partnership with Banco Português de Fomento, has invested in ClubeFashion , a company that is one of the largest online outlet platforms in Portugal, offering well-known brand products at discounted prices through daily campaigns.

Founded in 2006, the platform features categories such as Fashion, Beauty, and Home, with flexible delivery options to multiple locations.

In 2023, ClubeFashion transitioned from Flash Sales to a Marketplace, allowing third-party sellers to offer their products directly to consumers, which accelerated the platform’s growth.

The company invests in AI and Big Data to enhance the user experience and is increasingly focusing on the second-hand market and circular economy. With this strategy, ClubeFashion is well-positioned to lead the e-commerce trend in Portugal, particularly in the sustainable "pre-loved" segment.

This investment falls within the scope of the VENTURE CAPITAL programme by Banco Português de Fomento, designed to foster the growth of companies with scalable business models and strong sector potential. Under the NOVUS Fund, this objective is pursued through investments in technology-driven solutions that make use of Artificial Intelligence.
